Responsibilities

  • Create visually appealing and engaging graphics for various digital and print materials, including social media posts, marketing collateral, and learning resources.
  • Work closely with the marketing and content teams to understand project requirements, objectives, and target audience, ensuring that designs align with the overall communication strategy.
  • Maintain and enforce brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all visual elements, reinforcing the identity of Star Swahili Learning Centre.
  • Propose creative and innovative design concepts to enhance the learning experience and effectively communicate the mission of breaking language barriers and promoting African growth.
  • Handle multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining quality, while adapting to changing priorities and requirements.

Requirements

  • Diploma graduate, 2nd-year student, or graduate in IT, Software Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • Experience in graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.) with a strong portfolio showcasing creative and effective design solutions.
  •  Ability to think creatively and develop unique visual concepts that align with the organization’s goals and vision.
  •  Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate and present design ideas effectively.
  •  Willingness to learn and adapt to new design trends and technologies, staying updated on industry best practices.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, taking feedback positively and contributing to a positive and innovative work culture.
  • A genuine interest in contributing to the mission of breaking language barriers and championing Africa’s growth through citizen inclusion, cooperation, and integration.
